Overview: Senior Informatics Analyst 

Onsite Mercy Hospital St. Louis

Primary Function
- Provides institutional expertise in the delivery of clinical care as it relates to the Electronic Health Record (EHR) Program
- Evaluates and promotes new technologies with a focus on streamlining clinical documentation and assessment processes.
- Participates in the development and advanced implementation support of automated clinical processes.
Provides at the elbow and other end user support for all end users of the EHR.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 5 years of relevant technical or business work experience.
• Required Education: Bachelors degree in healthcare field, specialized training or equivalent work experience with electronic health record.
• Other: Good communication skills both verbal & written.(skills, knowledge, abilities)Preferred Experience: Previous experience with Epic EHR. Experience with data analytics, data management associated with systems evaluation, experience in medical policy documentation. Exposure to all phases of systems analysis and design. Exposure to system usability and human factor analysis. Experience with business applications. Ability to prioritize competing interests.
