Overview:

The Scheduling Coordinator performs scheduling and secretarial duties pertinent to the Outpatient Infusion Department, in addition to various patient care tasks.  Uses appropriate clinical skills to assist staff with patient care.  Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2 years scheduling experience preferred. 
  • Preferred Experience: Clinical experience helpful.
  • Required Education: High School graduate or equivalent. Supplemental
    courses in typing and medical terminology or broad experience
    base in medical terminology.
  • Certifications: Medical Assistant training, current BLS certification.
  • Other: Telephone etiquette, EPIC/Cadence computer skills, able to perform various nursing functions (skills, knowledge, abilities).
