Overview:
Behavioral Health offers 32 beds within the Mercy Joplin main hospital. Our nurses are specially trained to care for the Adult Psych population. The unit offers a women's side, a men's side & medical care side to provide patient care in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and mercy service standards.
Qualifications:
- Required Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited school
- Experience: Preferred experience in Psych or Adult Behavior setting
- License: Current RN license in our state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements
- Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association
