Assists the Director of Pharmacy in planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of clinical operations in order to provide patient focused pharmaceutical services to achieve quality outcomes. Serves as a clinical resource to staff and patients. Functions as a staff pharmacist as needed. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards. Position Details: Pharmacy Supervisor Will work 4-10's and every 6th weekend. Typical shift is 1:00 PM - 11:30 PM. Will supervise around 20 direct reports as part of a 10-person leadership team! This is a working supervisor position. Lead with purpose. Make a difference. What You'll Do:
- Assist the Director of Pharmacy in planning, coordinating, and evaluating clinical operations
- Ensure delivery of high-quality, patient-focused pharmaceutical services
- Serve as a clinical resource for pharmacy staff and patients
- Step in as a staff pharmacist when needed to maintain seamless operations
- Champion Mercy's mission, values, and service standards in every aspect of your work
Education:
- Bachelor of Science (BS) or higher degree in Pharmacy required
Licensure:
- Current pharmacist license from applicable State Board of Pharmacy required
Experience:
- 2–3 years of pharmacy experience required
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least one year of pharmacy management experience preferred
- Advanced degree or additional certifications preferred
- Experience in clinical operations or leadership roles is a plus
