Description
Find your calling at Mercy! Transports patients and equipment to and from various departments within the Medical Center. Performs various patient related activities, as assigned. Trains new co-workers on all aspects of the Transport process. Ensures Patients are transported in a safe manner and proper body mechanics are utilized at all times. Maintains PAR levels for equipment in various locations throughout Mercy. Regularly wears personal protective equipment (PPE). Continuously shows the ability to work well with other co-workers (both within the Patient Transportation Department and other departments). Uses Epic software to track each patient's location as they travel to and from designated areas throughout the facility. Uses Epic software to track patient and equipment movement throughout the facility. Trains new co-workers to operate Epic correctly. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and guiding principles and Mercy Service Standards. Performs all other duties as assigned. Position Details:
