What You'll Do
As the first point of contact for patients and visitors, you'll play a key role in creating a welcoming and efficient experience. Responsibilities include:
- Greeting, instructing, and directing patients and visitors
- Scheduling appointments and managing physician calendars
- Performing clerical duties for physicians and clinic staff
- Retrieving insurance and patient information
- Providing necessary forms and securing signatures
- Entering patient data into the system
- Answering incoming calls and dispatching messages
- Coordinating follow-up appointments and patient account functions
- Establishing payment plans and collecting payments
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience: One year of experience in a medical office setting preferred
