Manager – Specialty Pharmacy Services
Are you ready to lead the future of specialty pharmacy care? Mercy is seeking a passionate and experienced Manager of Specialty Pharmacy Services to drive innovation, compliance, and excellence across our pharmacy operations.
In this pivotal role, you'll:
- Lead the coordination and implementation of Specialty Pharmacy Services at your assigned location, ensuring seamless integration with Mercy Pharmacy Services (MPS) across Company 80 sites.
- Champion regulatory excellence, maintaining full compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines.
- Identify and resolve drug-related issues, proactively improving patient safety and outcomes.
- Collaborate with medical staff to design and implement cutting-edge pharmaceutical protocols.
- Develop systems that promote safe, cost-effective medication therapy, driving better patient outcomes.
- Optimize resource utilization to meet productivity and financial goals.
- Support and manage a compliant 340B drug program, ensuring program integrity and effectiveness.
- Coordinate specialty pharmacy services in partnership with other pharmacy leaders.
- Design and execute marketing strategies to grow and retain customer engagement.
- Inspire and lead change, modeling professionalism, positivity, and a shared vision for excellence.
- Recognize and empower team members, fostering a culture of appreciation and personal connection.
- Hold care providers accountable to the highest standards of regulatory and professional responsibility.

Experience:
- Minimum 3 years in an ambulatory/retail pharmacy setting
- Minimum 3 years in a management role
Education:
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and/or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
Certifications:
- State Board of Pharmacy Medication Therapy Services Certificate
Licensure:
- Must possess or be eligible for applicable state Pharmacist Licensure(s)
