Schedule: Full-Time | 40 hours per week | Mon - Fri | 7:30AM - 4:00PM

Overview:
Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of person(s) licensed by a State regulatory board to prescribe medication and treatment, or under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN). Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments.
Minimum QualificationsEducation
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
- Comparable education and licensure may be considered.
Licensure
- Must hold a current LPN license in the state where nursing duties are performed.
- Responsible for maintaining licensure and meeting all State Board of Nursing requirements.
Experience
- Open to both new graduates and experienced LPNs.
Certifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association required within 30 days of hire.
- Depending on the unit or position, one or more of the following certifications may be required at hire or obtained within a department-specific timeframe:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- PEARS (Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization)
- S.T.A.B.L.E. (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work, and Emotional Support)
- Six Assessment & Care Modules
- Other unit-specific certifications as applicable
Physical Requirements
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Prolonged standing and walking during shifts
- Must be able to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
Education & Licensure
- Additional nursing education or certifications beyond minimum requirements
Experience
- Prior experience in a clinical or patient care setting
Certifications
- IV Certification within one year of hire
Physical Requirements
- Same as listed above under minimum qualifications
