Overview:
Responsible for providing skilled nursing services to patients in their homes under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. Mustassess, plan, implement and evaluate patients needs and care. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with ourmission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Qualifications:
Experience: Prefer one year experience in a related field.
Licensure: Current LPN license in the state of Missouri. Must be a licensed driver.
Certifications: BLS CPR Certification through American Heart Association is required.
Other skills & knowledge: Complies with accepted professional standards and principles. Understands Hospice philosophy; issues related to death/dying and grief. Complies with Unity Health Hospice Health Status requirements. Has ability to provide good written documentation in a timely manner. Is flexible and cooperative in fulfilling role obligation and has ability to work within an interdisciplinary team. Employee has significant impact on patient welfare.
