Overview:

 

This position requires technical and functional expertise related to procurement and supply chain management, anticipate issues and recommend solutions, strategize with clients and senior management. Manage the development of project deliverables, key performance indicators (to monitor cost reduction initiatives, supply chain assessments/diagnostics, contract optimization, technology utilization, and supply chain strategy).

 

The Director is also responsible for recommending and developing process improvement initiatives that supports the Unified Supply Chain effort. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.


Qualifications:

 

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience: Hospital Supply Chain years experience is required. 5 years of health care supply chain mgmt experience or other industry equivalent.
  • Certifications: Certification in either APICS, CPIM, CSCP, IAHCSMM, OR CRST preferred
  • Other: Basic math skills required. Intermediate computer skills
