Description

Cardiac Rehab- Full Time Days  

36 hours/ wk

 

Overview: 

 

This role assists and treats patients recovering from a cardiac event or managing their cardiovascular or pulmonary disease . Services provided include inpatient education and outpatient cardiopulmonary rehabilitation. Inpatient education (Phase 1) is provided 7 days a week with a weekend rotation of 1 every 7 weekends. Outpatient cardiopulmonary rehab (Phase 2) operates M-F with a combination of exercise sessions and orienting new patients to the program. This role is expected to perform duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and mercy service standards.


Qualifications:

 

Education: ASN or BSN required 

Licensure: Must have either a current RN Temporary Permit/RN license in the State working in.

Experience: 2 years of patient care experience required 

Preferred Experience: One year of Cardiac related experience 

Certifications: CPR required; other certification required according to department policy.
