As an OBGYN Sonographer, you will:
- Perform high-quality obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound examinations according to established protocols
- Capture accurate diagnostic images while adjusting techniques based on patient needs and clinical findings
- Partner with providers to support timely diagnosis and treatment planning
- Educate and communicate effectively with patients, helping them feel informed and comfortable throughout their visit
- Ensure patient safety, privacy, and exceptional customer service
- Maintain ultrasound equipment and imaging records in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinic staff to deliver outstanding patient care
- Graduate of an accredited School of Sonography with completed clinical training or a registered Sonographer
- ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI registry credential or registry eligible (credential required within 6 months of eligibility)
- OBGYN certification required or must be registry eligible/pass within 6 months
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
- No prior experience required
- State licensure may be required based on location of practice
- Arkansas applicants may require ARDMS-RVT, CCI-RVS, or ARRT-VS certification within 12 months, depending on role responsibilities
