General Summary of Position
As the Vice President of Clinical Services for MedStar Georgetown University Hospital (MGUH), the incumbent in this position will provide leadership consistent with the mission, vision, values, policies, and objectives for the organization. Responsible for the daily operations for Radiology Services, Interventional Radiology, Cath and ECHO labs, Laboratory Medicine, Pharmacy, GI Endoscopy, Hospital based Anesthesia, PM&R, Radiation Medicine, Hospital clinics to include Center for Wound Healing, Foot & Hand Center, Ourisman Breast Center, Performance Improvement, as well as any other clinical departments as assigned by the COO. These functions are performed in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and MGUH's philosophy, policies, procedures, and standards.

Minimum Qualifications
Education
- Master's degree in Hospital or Health Services Administration, Public Health, or Business Administration or comparable advanced clinical degree required
Experience
- 8-10 years in a senior leadership role required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Extensive knowledge in the areas of hospital administration, areas of responsibility, alternate delivery systems, and local and national health care issues. Comprehensive knowledge of current personnel and financial management.
- Ability to conceptualize and effectively work and coordinate multiple systems within an organization.
- High tolerance for stress.
- Ability to analyze facts and to exercise sound judgment in decision making.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
