General Summary of Position
Responsible for the coordination of patient care and access to services, provides materials and serves as a liaison with members of the patient's health care team as well as provides administrative support to the department physicians and staff. Functions as a patient advocate, guides patients and families throughout the scheduling, pre and post procedure process. These functions are performed in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and philosophy, policies, procedures and standards.

Minimum Qualifications
Education
- Associate's degree required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- CONSIDERATION WILL BE GIVEN TO AN APPROPRIATE COMBINATION OF EDUCATION/TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE required
Experience
- 1-2 years Experience in a medical clinical office is and previous experience as a patient registration associate or Administrative Assistant preferred
Licenses and Certifications
- No special certification, registration or licensure required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills, and good telephone etiquette.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to perform in a high-pressure environment.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work.
- Ability to deal effectively and professionally with a variety of different individuals.
This position has a hiring range of $20.17 - $35.04
