Description
Leads regional care delivery teams staffed with clinicians, social workers, and care coordinators to ensure the deliverance of exceptional health care to elderly patients across various care domains (such as Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRC), Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF), and other settings). Oversees and manages both administrative and clinical staff. Acts as a liaison with leadership and external stakeholders. Responsible for driving outcomes that support quality care, operational efficiency, and for managing relationship and growth across the MedStar Geriatrics & Senior Services CCRC & SNF portfolio.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in business/health administration or related field required
- Master's degree preferred
- 5-7 years Experience in a leadership role or management in healthcare administration with progressive responsibilities and strong personnel management required
- No special certification, registration or license required
- High level verbal and written communication, problem solving, and independent judgment skills required.
- Ability to work independently, and part of a team.
- Travel across multiple CCRC/SNF sites as needed.
- Ability to focus on partner and customer services / patient experience, entrepreneurship and building and growing a strong business.
- Must be accurate and meticulous with an ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Familiarity with front-end operations and financial management required.
- Ability to effectively manage staff across multiple sites
