Job Summary:
MedStar Health is looking for a Manager Outreach (506279) to join our team!
The Manager of Outreach is Responsible for the development, implementation, integration, and operational direction of the Outreach Program for MedStar Family Choice (MFC)through organizing, directing, assessing, and evaluating a system that manages member access to care and quality patient outcomes. Ensures that departmental goals are in alignment with external regulatory requirements and MFC's annual operating plan. Analyzes outcome data to direct outreach activities to achieve all regulatory targets and HEDIS benchmarks as defined by Senior Management. Oversees and supervises the outreach associates. Aligns wellness initiatives with the goals and standards of the local jurisdiction to include Value Based Purchasing, EPSDT, and HEDIS standards.

Primary Duties:
- Leads department operations by developing goals, policies, and procedures while ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulatory/accreditation requirements.
- Manages staffing and performance, including hiring, training, setting performance standards, conducting evaluations, and initiating corrective actions as needed.
- Oversees budgeting and resource management, aligning departmental spending with approved financial plans.
- Directs outreach initiatives, including MFC Outreach plans, wellness and incentive programs, and community health events, ensuring alignment with VBP, HEDIS, EPSDT, and other regulatory goals.
- Utilizes data and technology (EHR, MedConnect, CRISP, etc.) to support quality improvement, productivity tracking, and strategic planning; prepares detailed reports for audits and regulatory agencies.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in business or healthcare field, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience. (Required)
- Bachelor's degree in business or healthcare-related field (Preferred)
- 2 years supervisory experience (Required)
- Medicaid Experience (Preferred)
Licenses/ Certifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Medical Assistant certification (Preferred)

This position has a hiring range of $63,793 - $113,318
