General Summary of Position
The Food Service Worker may work anywhere on the property where food is prepared. The incumbent assists in setup and serving of food from counters and steam tables. Duties will include cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work stations. The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below, but Sodexo may identify other responsibilities of the position. These responsibilities may differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

Education
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
Experience
- 1-2 years Experience in the food industry preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- The incumbent in this role must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer skills preferred.
- The incumbent must present self in a highly professional manner to others and have the ability to uphold honesty and ethics in the workplace, have the ability to maintain a positive attitude and the ability to communicate with co-workers and other departments with professionalism and respect.
- The incumbent in this role must be able to maintain a professional relationship with all coworkers, vendor representatives, supervisors, managers, customers, and client representatives and have the ability to provide clear directions and responses to co-workers.
- The incumbent in this role must have basic food handling skills.
This position has a hiring range of $17.5 - $28.73
