General Summary of Position

Experienced RN –Cardiovascular, and Vascular Prep & Recovery (No Weekends or Holidays)

Position Overview:
We are offering a unique opportunity for an experienced ICU or PACU Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. We are seeking a flexible, team-oriented RN to support the prep and recovery of patients undergoing open heart, cardiovascular (CV), and vascular surgeries. This role offers a varied and rewarding workday, with opportunities to expand skills into pre- and post-operative patient communications and participate in special projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and recover patients for open heart, cardiovascular, and vascular procedures.
• Conduct pre- and post-operative patient calls to support optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in special projects related to perioperative care and quality improvement.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities day-to-day.

Schedule:

• Three 12-hour shifts per week.
• No weekends or holidays required.
• Work hours: 0530 AM – 1800 PM.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years recent ICU or PACU nursing experience.
• Current ACLS certification required.
• Strong critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills.
• Flexibility, teamwork, and a positive attitude are essential.

Minimum Qualifications
Education

• Associate's degree in Nursing from an accredited academic nursing program required
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited academic nursing program preferred
• If prepared at the associate degree in nursing level, required to enroll in a BSN program within 12 months of hire date and completion within 4 years of hire date

Experience

• 1-2 years RN experience required

This position has a hiring range of $35 - $56.91
