General Summary of Position
Under the direction or the AVP of Employee Relations, the Director of Employee Relations is responsible for executing the organization's employee relations strategy, programs, policies, and procedures, ensuring a positive, fair and productive work environment. Ensures compliance with federal and local laws; recommending new and/or updated policies as needed. Leads a team that manages workplace concerns through leader consultations, investigations and discipline. The Director will work closely with HR leadership and other departments to support organizational goals and compliance with labor laws.

Minimum Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required
- Master's degree Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred
Experience
- 8-10 years Experience in Employee Relations or related HR field required
- 3-4 years Leadership experience in Employee Relations or related HR field required
Licenses and Certifications
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR)-HRCI preferred
- Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR)-HRCI preferred
- SHRM-CP preferred
- SHRM-SCP preferred
- Knowledge of labor laws and regulations
- Communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Proven ability to manage complex employee relations issues
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related software

This position has a hiring range of $131,497 - $256,630
