Description
General Summary of Position
Provides physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech language pathology services to patient, to include but not limited to screening and evaluation, treatment planning, treatment implementation, treatment reassessment and revision, patient/client re-evaluation, discharge planning, and documentation. Assists in coordinating day-to-day operations in collaboration with the Clinic Leadership. Coordinates effective short-term scheduling and team member coverage. Individual is responsible to work with the Clinic leadership to promote proper and efficient utilization of quality services. Participates in program development, expansion and improvement with the Clinic Leadership and other team members. Helps develop and maintain systems to increase referrals and to communicate with physicians, insurers, and external case managers.

Minimum Qualifications
Education
- Degree in Occupational, Physical Therapy required or
- Speech Language Pathology. required and
- High School Diploma or GED of an accredited school of Occupational, Physical therapy required or
- Speech Language Pathology required
Experience
- 3-4 years Clinical experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting with demonstrated expertise preferred
Licenses and Certifications
- Maryland, District of Columbia (DC) required or
- Virginia licensure required as deemed necessary for your specific location(s). required and
- American Heart Association's BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR certification required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Professional competency as a general practitioner in occupational, physical therapy or speech language pathology;
- Demonstrates leadership skills and ability to solve problems and improve processes;
- Demonstrates competence in enhancing excellent customer service.
- Able to work in a team environment;
- Takes initiative in following through with all procedures and policies; effective communication skills.
