Description
Responsible for the assessment, direction and supervision of participants in the Cardiopulmonary Rehab Program. Also participates in process improvement and ensures ongoing compliance with requirements of the program through AACVPR.
Education
- Bachelor's degree Nursing required or
- Associate's degree Respiratory Therapy required
- 1-2 years In a Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation program within the last 5 years of work history preferred
- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure Upon Hire required or
- RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist Upon Hire required and
- CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (includes BLS and NRP) for healthcare providers from either the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross within 90 Days required and
- Additional unit/specialty certifications may vary by department or business unit.
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification within 1 Year required
- Specialty certification in pulmonary or cardiac rehabilitation within 1 Year required
