General Summary of Position
The Birth/Death Registrar is responsible for following and complying with hospital, departmental policies and procedures as well as regulatory and accrediting agency requirements for the accurate and timely processing of birth certificates, death certificates, and master patient index.

Minimum Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required
Experience
- 2 to 3 years of electronic birth/death certificate experience in a hospital preferred
Licenses and Certifications
- Notary License (NOTARY PUB) within 90 Days required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of medical terminology is required.
This position has a hiring range of $24.542 - $37.244
