MedStar Health is currently recruiting clinicians at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital to support night shifts. We are seeking Advanced Practice Providers, who preferably have experience in the field of Hospital Medicine, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
The Advanced Practice Provider performs a variety of duties inclusive of, but not limited to, the following: history and physical examinations, patient assessments, initial diagnoses, documentation of findings, and writing medical orders while providing care to assigned patients, working in conjunction with physician nocturnists.
The Advanced Practice Provider will be responsible for cross-cover call on Hospital Medicine patients, including the Bone Marrow Transplant service. This position also assists with overnight floor and Emergency Department admissions.
