MedStar Health Research Institute has an opening for an Informatics Analyst to join our team!
Job Duties:
Provide training to clinical users on tools developed for research. Serve as a REDCap Administrator for the MedStar Health Research Institute and displays excellence of all stages of project development and management in REDCap. Prepare and maintain selected regulatory portfolios, and work with internal and external partners to accomplish the objectives of research projects. Conduct Electronic Health Record (EHR) reviews per project-specific criteria. Abstract and accurately record data from specified records, both paper and electronic. Coordinate the design, development, implementation, and administration of research protocols into the Research Electronic Data Capture (REDCap) System. Collaborate with REDCap's advanced features. Develop tableau dashboards and deploy to the MedStar Tableau Server. Identify patients from EHR who meet inclusion/exclusion criteria for feasibility studies, clinical trials, and other projects. Prepare regular reports of research activity.
Requirements:
Position requires a Master's degree in Information Systems, Health Science, Data Science, or a related field of study. Will accept foreign educational equivalent. Position requires ten (10) months of experience as a Data Analyst or a related occupation.
Position requires ten (10) months of experience in the following skills: Analytics Tools, including Tableau, Python, R, MS SQL, and management studio; Data Analysis; and Data Presentation.
Position requires one (1) month of experience in the following skills: Data Management systems including MS Access, MYSQL, R, and Python; Medical Vocabularies, including ICD-9/10; EHR, including centricity, cerner, and epic.

Salary: $74,443.00 to $131,310.40 per year
