General Summary of Position
Performs various financial or reimbursement functions. Collects prepares and analyzes data. Prepares a variety of financial reports.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Contributes to the achievement of established department goals and objectives and adheres to department policies procedures quality standards and safety standards. Complies with governmental and accreditation regulations.
• Assists with annual operating budget preparation and analysis.
• Researches department specific financial transactions.
• Creates departmental specific financial reports.
• Participates in meetings and on committees and represents the department and hospital in community outreach efforts.
• Participates in multi-disciplinary quality and service improvement teams.

Minimal Qualifications
Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting Finance required or
• other related field. required

Experience

• Prior work experience not required

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to exercise independent judgment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of various computer software applications.
