SDC - Dental Enrollment Specialist
Job Summary:
Provides administrative support to the Enrollment team. Processes all incoming enrollment documentation and ensures complete and accurate installation of clients and members in the enrollment system.
Responsibilities:
- Participates in an on-the-job training program and ongoing training to learn and build knowledge and skills of the Company's products and services, policies, procedures, and systems.
- Completes electronic file transfers & audits for small to medium sized clients.
- Installs and maintains all member enrollment information received by paper form via data entry.
- Installs new groups into Customer Relationship Management (ACT) database and prepares new group installation materials.
- Updates client information (address, contact, billing changes, etc.) and communicates changes internally as required.
- Communicates with members, clients, and/or brokers regarding member enrollment installation.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
SDC - Senior Dental Enrollment Specialist
Job Summary:
Provides administrative support to the Enrollment team. Processes routine to complex incoming enrollment documentation and ensures complete and accurate installation of clients and members in the enrollment system. Acts as a training resource for other Enrollment Specialists.
Responsibilities:
- Completes electronic file transfers and audits for larger-sized clients.
- Installs and maintains all member enrollment information received by paper form via data entry.
- Communicates with members, clients, and/or brokers regarding member enrollment installation, as well as utilizes the online chat feature to answer client questions. Acts as a resource for other team members regarding complex and escalated issues.
- Installs new groups into Customer Relationship Management (ACT) database and prepares new group installation materials.
- Installs new groups in database and communicates with the team regarding member installation.
- Assists with training and acts as a resource for other Enrollment Specialists. Supports manager with covering additional tasks as needed.
- Updates client information (address, contact, billing changes, etc.) and communicates changes internally as required, including with parent company.
- Formats and uploads group conversion spreadsheets, for initial enrollment as well as open enrollment at client's renewal.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
SDC - Dental Enrollment Specialist
- Basic Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Solid data entry skills.
- Knowledge of enrollment processes and systems.
- Knowledge of standard office procedures and equipment (multi-function copier/printer/scanner, etc.).
SDC - Senior Dental Enrollment Specialist
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1 year experience as a Dental Enrollment Specialist or equivalent 2 years of enrollment experience preferably in dental insurance, or equivalent relevant experience in a dental office, health insurance, or healthcare.
- Basic to intermediate Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) skills.
- Strong data entry skills.
- Strong knowledge of enrollment processes and systems.
- Strong knowledge of standard office procedures and equipment (multi-function copier/printer/scanner, etc.).
- Knowledge of Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
