Description

The Marketing & Advertising Specialist position allows you the flexibility to work at home as long as you reside within a 50-mile radius of an OH Medical Mutual office.

Working under direct supervision, implements Medicare acquisition marketing strategies. Develops advertisements and marketing collateral to drive leads for Medicare products and help support sales team initiatives. Collaborates and coordinates with internal and external teams including creative and media agency partners, as well as in-house Design, Data Analytics and Digital Marketing teams, to develop creative assets, fulfill paid media buys and track the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities

 

Marketing & Advertising Specialist I

·    Implements marketing strategies for consumer-facing Medicare and Individual ACA campaigns.

·    Develops and manages marketing collateral and sales materials for Medicare and Individual ACA products.

·    Works with in-house Design team and agency partners to develop creative assets, including flyers, brochures, direct mail and print ads.

·    Works closely with in-house Print Center to execute direct mail campaigns.

·    Helps fulfill Medicare media buys, including broad-reaching awareness campaigns combined with direct-response efforts.

·    Coordinates direct mail proof approval with external print vendor and develops and traffics corresponding digital assets.

·    Manages campaign landing pages, working with Digital Marketing to ensure accurate content and information.

·    Proofreads marketing collateral and advertisements to ensure accuracy.

·    Versions marketing materials to apply to various plan types or regions.

·    Assists with filing of marketing materials for government review.

·    Performs other duties as needed.

 

 

 

Marketing & Advertising Specialist II

·    Implements marketing strategies for consumer-facing Medicare campaigns.

·    Develops and manages marketing collateral and sales materials for Medicare products.

·    Works with in-house Design team and agency partners to develop creative assets, including direct mail and print, digital, radio and television ads targeted to a senior audience.

·    Works with agency partners to execute and optimize ongoing digital advertising campaigns.

·    Collaborates closely with external vendors to ensure timely and accurate execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels.

·    Helps fulfill Medicare media buys, including broad-reaching awareness campaigns combined with direct-response efforts.

·    Manages campaign landing pages, working with Digital Marketing to ensure accurate content and information.

·    Coordinates with Data Analytics and agency partners to ensure proper tracking is in place for all campaigns.

·    Ensures marketing materials meet Medicare Advantage compliance standards and maintains working knowledge of Medicare Communications and Marketing Guidelines (MCMG).

·    Performs other duties as needed.

 

 

Sr. Marketing & Advertising Specialist

·    Develops and implements marketing strategies for consumer- and broker-facing Medicare campaigns.

·    Develops and manages marketing collateral and sales materials for Medicare products.

·    Works with in-house Design team and agency partners to develop creative assets, including direct mail and print, digital, radio and television ads targeted to a senior audience.

·    Works with agency partners to execute and optimize ongoing digital advertising campaigns.

·    Acts as primary liaison with external vendors to ensure timely and accurate execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels.

·    Fulfills Medicare media buys, including broad-reaching awareness campaigns combined with direct-response efforts.

·    Manages campaign landing pages, working with Digital Marketing to ensure accurate content and information is presented.

·    Coordinates with Data Analytics and agency partners to ensure proper tracking is in place for all campaigns.

·    Plans and executes annual broker events, including coordinating with event venues, managing event budgets, ordering promotional items, and developing event marketing materials.

·    Ensures marketing materials meet Medicare Advantage compliance standards and maintains working knowledge of Medicare Communications and Marketing Guidelines (MCMG). 

·    Orients, train and assists more junior level staff.

·    Performs other duties as needed.

Education and Experience:

·    Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.

·    Up to 1 year of marketing experience, preferably in a health plan or healthcare or financial services industries.

·    Experience with government programs (Medicare/Medicaid) preferred.

 

Technical Skills and Knowledge:

·    Ability to apply basic knowledge of the Company's strategic marketing and implementation plans.

·  Ability to implement print and digital advertising strategies and best practices and see them through to tactical execution.

·   Ability to apply basic knowledge of Company's products, key product benefits, target markets and available media for promotion.

·   Basic knowledge of print and multimedia research, planning, buying, scheduling, managing advertising calendars and fulfillment.

·   Basic knowledge of government programs (Medicare/Medicaid) and related marketing guidelines.

·   3 years of progressive marketing experience, which includes writing and editing and interacting with advertising agencies and media partners, preferably in a health plan or healthcare or financial services industries.

·   Experience with government programs (Medicare/Medicaid) strongly preferred.

 

Technical Skills and Knowledge:

·   Ability to apply knowledge of the Company's strategic marketing and implementation plans.

·   Ability to create and implement print and digital advertising strategies and best practices and see them through to tactical execution.

·   Ability to apply knowledge of Company's products, key product benefits, target markets and available media for promotion.

·   Knowledge of print and multimedia research, planning, buying, scheduling, managing advertising calendars and fulfillment.
