SCHEDULE: Full-time

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the nurse manager and director, the anesthesia technician assumes responsibility for the working order and availability of equipment in a manner consistent with the mission and goals of the organization.  Employee will recognize the population specific needs of the surgical patient and apply the appropriate knowledge, skills and behaviors to meet those needs when performing job duties.

 

Medical City Fort Worth is a 320-bed facility offering comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services, including cardiac care, neurosciences, oncology, orthopedics, kidney transplant surgery, and emergency care. Qualifications

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:  Education and Training Experience Required

* Successful completion of an ASATT-approved Anesthesia Technician program

* 1 year minimum experience as an Anesthesia Technician, preferred

 

CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE:  Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

·         Anesthesia Technologist certification

·         BCLS Certification
