The Registered Nurse House Supervisor – RN – Nursing Supervisor reports to the CNO and supervises RNs, LVNs and CNAs. Under the general direction of his/her administrative report, the House Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the efficient function of the Nursing department on the assigned shift. The incumbent must be able handle multiple priorities and make decisions under pressure.
Licensed RN by the State of Texas or compact license
Associates degree required and BSN preferred
3 years of clinical experience required, ED or ICU preferred
Two years of management experience preferred
BLS and ACLS required
Ideal candidate will have availbility for both day and night shifts
