We are seeking a PRN Respiratory Care Specialist at Medical City Arlington to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Medical City Arlington is a 432-bed full-service hospital located in the heart of the growing South Arlington area. There are well over 1,000 full-time and part-time nurses, therapists, technicians and other healthcare personnel that make up our team. The PRN Respiratory Care Specialist reports to the Director of Respiratory Care and provides limited respiratory care to patients as ordered by physicians, according to established standards and practices.  This position also performs a variety of duties relative to the cleaning, disinfecting and storing respiratory therapy equipment and supplies.

 

Qualifications

Education: High School/GED required and enrolled for credit in the clinical portion of an approved Respiratory Care education program

Experience: 2nd year of Respiratory Care program; initial and semi-annual verification of student status required thereafter

Special Skills/Qualifications: Ability to listen, interact and communicate verbally and in writing

Licensure/certification/registration:  BLS
