DescriptionSHIFT: No Weekends
Manager of Emergency Department Medical City Arlington Coordinates with Human Resources to ensure appropriate recruitment of staff; coordinates with staffing office to ensure appropriate staff availability; serves as a resource to staff and physicians; computation of staffing payroll (assisted by ED Analyst). Reviews performance improvement; coordinates education/protocols with ED Nursing Leadership and Medical Director; serves as a resource to staff for ED care related processes; coordinates community Emergency Medical Services and Emergency Department including performance improvement issues related to pre-hospital care; participates in ED management processes as indicated/delegated by AVP of Emergency Services; participates with disaster planning/program for department, hospital, community and regional advisory council. About Medical City Arlington Originally opened in August of 1976 as Arlington Community Hospital in a rural part of town, Medical City Arlington has developed into a 432 bed full-service hospital located in the heart of the growing South Arlington area. QualificationsQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Minimum Education / Licensure/Certifications Current Texas State RN license or compact license is accepted. Bachelors degree. Current Healthcare Provider BLS issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required.
Current Healthcare Provider ACLS issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required. Minimum Experience Five (5) years nursing experience with at least two (2) years in Emergency Department; Supervisory/leadership experience within past year. Nursing Leadership/management experience preferred.
