Director of Marketing 

Responsible for leading the development and execution of our marketing strategy and annual plan. The Marketing Director ensures excellent execution across product, customer and channel marketing, and tracks performance metrics vs. goals. This role responsible for positive, productive agency partner relationships.  You will share your experience, intuition, and insights, and leverage the expertise of others to drive growth.


  • Work experience:

–Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in brand, marketing or other experience-related roles

–Minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience with direct agency relationship management, strategy and insight development

  • Education/knowledge:

–Bachelor's degree or higher in business, marketing or related field, MBA preferred

–Healthcare marketing experience preferred

  • Skills & Competencies required:

–Experience in marketing planning, advertising campaigns, and public relations

–Understanding of B2B and B2C marketing needs

–Experience with new business or product launch

–Proven ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

–Prior experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating  with multiple agencies

–Proven ability to set goals and deliver results against KPIs

–Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

–Financial management and quantitative analysis skills

–Experience building and transforming a marketing function, supporting function evolution

–Ability to build and grow strong brand presence  and recognition

  • Develop marketing strategy and annual plan

–Support growth of the marketing function (e.g., vision, goals, talent needs) and commercialization of products across all lines of business

–Develop and manage lead generation strategy to ensure consistently full top of funnel for sales team

–Lead development of integrated marketing strategy, partnering with cross-functional stakeholders and customers to enable growth across all marketing mediums (e.g., digital, PR)

–Design and execute marketing strategies that support the growth of current and future products across all business units

–Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure completion of execution plan and adherence to marketing vision and strategy

–Adjust marketing strategy, budget and annual plan as customer and/or product needs change

–Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop GTM strategies to support product development and launch

–Identify and work with 3rd party marketing companies to support strategies and initiatives

–Manage team of marketing direct reports

  • Manage agency and vendor relationships

–Lead agency partnerships and management across all media touchpoints

–Manage multiple agency relationships simultaneously (e.g., Creative, PR, Digital, Crisis)

–Evaluate agency/vendor performance and assess opportunities for improvement

  • Manage performance analysis and reporting

–Set KPIs, milestones and goals to track sales and marketing team performance

–Evaluate performance against KPIs and effectively communicate findings with the organization to adjust workflows as needed

–Own marketing budget tracking, analysis, and insights development

  • Oversee brand stewardship

–Champion brand stewardship internally and externally through communications, initiatives, strategy, etc.

–Ensure customer lens considered in critical business decisions

  • People development

–Create and support a growth mindset and a continuous learning culture

–Support training and development of marketing team and broader talent
