Type: Full Time Salaried

Compensation: $111K - $166K

Location: Fully Remote, must be in the United States

Hours: Full Time Days

What to Expect:

 

The Client Implementation Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the seamless execution of new client implementations, client re-starts, and the addition of new products or services for existing clients. This role serves as the primary point of contact between the client and internal teams, ensuring alignment, clear communication, and successful project execution. The Client Implementation Manager drives project planning, risk mitigation, and stakeholder engagement to deliver a smooth and efficient client onboarding experience.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develops comprehensive project implementation plans and timelines, identifying key milestones and ensuring successful launch and post-launch monitoring while utilizing strong project management skills.
  • Maintains proactive communication with both Matrix and the client, providing regular status updates, timeline adjustments, and mitigating potential delays through effective account management and relationship development.
  • Establishes and manages client expectations by clearly outlining Matrix processes, requirements, and deliverables, ensuring mutual understanding and accountability, leveraging strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Serves as the primary liaison between the client and internal departments, ensuring client requirements are effectively communicated and integrated into operations through cross-functional collaboration.
  • Leads regular client implementation meetings and collaborates with Sales, Account Management, Operations, and Finance to align key business objectives and ensure a coordinated implementation approach, using customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  • Works closely with IT teams to define, document, and gain client approval on data management requirements, ensuring seamless integration with Matrix systems and leveraging data management expertise.
  • Oversees all aspects of client implementation configuration, including but not limited to provider credentialing, member engagement materials, system setup (e.g., clinical system, contact center system), billing & claims configuration, and care management/clinical requirements while maintaining process knowledge and ensuring compliance.
  • Manages the client implementation pipeline, proactively assessing risks, prioritizing tasks, and keeping internal stakeholders informed about project progress, potential challenges, and upcoming Go-live dates by employing risk mitigation and problem-solving skills.
  • Co-leads the End-of-Year Project in partnership with Membership Operations and the Operations team, coordinating all client specifications and strategy execution.
  • Facilitates training sessions for Client Success and Sales teams on implementation requirements, processes, and best practices, demonstrating expertise in training and facilitation.
  • Provides post-launch support and troubleshooting for Client Success and Sales teams, addressing data load issues, reporting needs, and issue resolution while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Continuously identifies opportunities to enhance implementation processes and improve overall client experience through process improvement and innovation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years in client implementation, project management, or a related client-facing role

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree required

CERTIFICATION/LICENSES

  • Relevant project management or client management certifications preferred (e.g., PMP, CSM, or equivalent)
