Title and Summary

VP, Corporate Treasury, AP Regional Treasurer Overview

The Corporate Treasury team performs all global treasury activities for Mastercard, including capital planning analysis, rating agency relationships, foreign exchange risk management and trading, cash management, cash positioning, global funding & liquidity management, cash investments, and various capital markets transactions including credit facility management. Treasury also includes the Global Settlement Services team, which manages the movement of funds related to transactions between Mastercard customers and relationships with settlement agent banks, including central banks.

Role
• Engaging with regulators, central banks, and other stakeholders to address settlement/FX inquiries and staying abreast of regulatory changes and legal developments within AP region
• Overseeing day-to-day settlement operations supporting AP & EEMEA regions to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of daily payments
• Driving initiatives to ensure proper Settlement liquidity protocol is in place across AP
• Collaborating with the global team on strategic efforts such as introducing new settlement services and FX enhancements in AP
• Managing global settlement invoice processing including establishing new vendors, routing invoices for approvals/payment through Oracle, and triaging processing issues
• Overseeing bank account administration (all financial accounts in Settlement) in partnership with GBSC including signatory changes, account closure requests, ongoing KYC requests, and annual account review
• Leading bank account rationalization project to reduce the number of bank accounts and optimize administrative costs
• Leading business case assessment and design of a treasury management system to replace and enhance Mastercard's existing treasury management system

All About You
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with the ability to initiate and implement the needed changes to achieve business unit /corporate objectives
• Ability to think creatively and out-of-the-box; ability to challenge the status quo; demonstrated ability to innovate
• Knowledge of broad corporate treasury functions
• Product development or system implementation experience is a plus
• Proficient in payment network systems (authorization, clearing, and settlement)
• Strong leadership qualities, including getting work done through others, being organizationally savvy, thought leadership
• Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse team with varying skillsets
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills, and proven ability to lead complex cross-functional projects
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, particularly the ability to work and communicate cross-functionally
• Management style that is proactive towards employee development

Education and Competencies
• Bachelor's degree in finance or related discipline; MBA preferred
• Strong treasury, corporate finance, and/or foreign exchange experience
