Vice President, Human Resources – Brazil
We are looking for a strategic and people-centric HR leader to join our People & Capabilities team as Vice President, Human Resources for Brazil. This role is pivotal in shaping and executing HR strategies that align with Mastercard's business goals and cultural values. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, driving initiatives that foster a high-performance culture, talent development, and organizational effectiveness.

As a key member of the executive leadership team, you will partner with business leaders across verticals to ensure the successful implementation of HR programs and policies, while also serving as a cultural change agent and advocate for our people, reporting to the LAC Senior Vice President of HR based in São Paulo, Brazil.

Role
• Ensure alignment of HR strategies with business goals.
• Shape and execute the HR strategy for Brazil, aligning with regional and global frameworks.
• Lead talent development, attraction, retention, and workforce planning for the future.
• Develop and execute strategic initiatives that enhance HR effectiveness and delivery.
• Provide coaching and advisory support to senior leaders.
• Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence to drive impactful programs.
• Ensure compliance with local labor laws and internal policies.
• Champion innovation and best practices to maintain Mastercard's reputation as a top employer

All About You
• 15+ years of HR Business Partner experience in multi-country environments, ideally in technology, consumer goods, or retail sectors.
• Proven track record in leading change management and cultural transformation initiatives.
• Strong experience in building collaborative, high-performance cultures.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or HR certification preferred. MBA or Master's degree highly desirable.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to anticipate business needs and leverage external data insights.
• Skilled in managing multiple priorities with agility and sound judgment.
• Strong leadership and people development capabilities.
• Effective communicator with excellent analytical and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed
