Title and Summary

Vice President, MDES Product Management Overview:
Mastercard's digital payments strategy is accelerating the transition from card payments to digital payments, using mobile phones and other devices to support issuers, merchants, and wallet providers. Consumers are expanding their range of digital activity across channels every day, and you can be a key contributor in driving this evolution.
The Mastercard Digital Enablement Service (MDES) powers the tokenization of Mastercard and private label accounts to increase security and ease of payment for consumers. MDES also offers account issuers not only a token vault service, but a full suite of tools and solutions to complement their digital strategy.
Role:
This role, Vice President, MDES Product Management will manage a newly formed, small team focused on activities that elevate our digital products, including leading initiatives that drive the growth of our MDES products by ensuring our customers are successful in using our solutions.
• Lead development of pricing models and implementation for existing and new services. Maintain pricing roadmap to monetize our value-added services.

• Work with Franchise to maintain our tokenization rules and MDES agreements in accordance with customer and market demands.

• Identify customer pain points and recommend/execute tactics to assist customers in adopting and using our products more effectively.

• Ensure the overall suite of MDES product and sales materials reflect the latest features and benefits of our products.

• Work with the MDES co-founders to formulate the justification for investment and securing of resources that drive the next generation of services. Work across the organization in developing the financial plan and KPIs for the program for the coming year.

• Serve as product point of contact for administering the cost and revenue allocations for our internal and external products.

• Drive actions that ensure our products meet the needs of the markets and our customers by:

 Performing periodic competitive analysis and monitoring of emerging market trends to formulate recommendations that ensure our products remain best in class in the marketplace.
 Contributing to MDES customer research that captures our customers' product needs and partner with product managers to introduce enhancements that meet those needs.
 Monitoring market penetration of products and develop strategies to elevate product usage.

Education: Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent work experience. Advanced degree desirable

Knowledge / Experience:
Business experience in product management, product development, product marketing or business development in financial services and/or bankcard industry preferred. At least 3 years of management experience desirable. Experience developing and managing department budgets

Skills/ Abilities:
• Excellent oral and written communication, project management and matrix-management skills are critical
• Interact and coordinate effectively with internal and external business partners
• Effectively direct and manage multiple functions within a product organization
• Business acumen with the ability to provide solutions that drive positive results to the customer and Mastercard
• Self-motivated with a proven track record of delivering success while operating within a team environment
