Title and Summary

Specialist, Strategy Pricing & Interchange The Customer Economics team is responsible for defining Mastercard's pricing and interchange strategy for Europe. The Specialist, Strategy, Pricing and Interchange is a key function within the team as it enables the correct execution in terms of implementation and communication of this strategy.

In this role you will be responsible for managing the interchange-related implementations, communications and new interchange developments for the whole of Europe. As such, you will become a technical expert on interchange-related topics. You will be able to answer customer questions, provide trainings, guide more senior team members in defining the technical most optimal solutions for their strategies. In this role you have the opportunity to develop an in depth expertise of the interchange system, which is at the heart of our business model.

You will be part of a collaborative cross-functional team delivering on Mastercard's strategies focusing on pricing and interchange. You will be working with multiple teams across our company including MC Operations & Technology in St. Louis, Customer Delivery, GP&S (Product), country teams etc.

The key activities include:
• Ensure correct implementation of interchange rates in Europe, managing the process from submission of new rates to validation of new rates
• Coordinate new interchange developments for Europe, driving the process from inception to implementation
• Manage the publications of interchange customer notifications, and technical specifications
• Manage the publication of the Europe Region Interchange Manual
• Manage the Customer Economics intranet
• Address internal and external interchange-related questions
