This is a great opportunity to collaborate with multiple functions and play an important role by joining the team behind Crypto Secure, a powerful risk assessment tool that helps banks gain greater visibility into crypto spend, transaction volumes, and AML risk exposure through a simple, intuitive dashboard.

As Software Engineer II in Release Management, you'll be a hands-on execution partner working with Software and Data Engineering teams to drive delivery excellence, release strategies and continuously improve our ways of working.

Role

Technical Execution & Delivery

- Responsible for planning, monitoring, executing and implementing the program's release strategy.
- Assist in developing long-range plans and strategies to achieve business growth ensuring timely completion of project deadlines and milestones.
- Ensure a successful delivery, which will include: Planning release lifecycle, Version control management, Build and Development control management, Change management, Risk Management.
- Plan and work with external teams in order to maintain infrastructure on regular basis.
- Work on delivery plan based on individual project's release cadence, following change management process as per Mastercard's governance policy.

Mentor & Guide the Team

- Provide technical and advisory support for staff to ensure the implementation of applications/infrastructure.
- Provide leadership and oversight on various projects of a complex nature.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team.

Collaborate Across Teams

- Work towards bridging the gap between Software and Data Engineering with Operations (BizOps and DBA) teams.
- Responsible for overall relationship and deliverables across all projects.
- Assists in leading complex initiatives of strategic importance (e.g. cross functional/cross geographies).
- Partner with Product Managers, Engineering team, BizOps to align technical and business delivery priorities.

Essential Skills

- Relevant experience in release management with knowledge of CI/CD, Jenkins build and deployment.
- Understanding of Cloud infrastructure like PCF, Database (PG, oracle) and micro services.
- Must be high-energy, detail-oriented and pro-active, with the ability to function under pressure in an independent environment.
- Excellent time management skill with deep knowledge of software development processes including Agile processes and continuous delivery
- Strong technical acumen and excellent communication skills - both verbal and written, collaborative and organizational skills across all levels.
