Title and Summary

Senior Specialist, Product Management, Small and Medium Enterprises, Asia Pacific Overview

This role, based in Singapore, will be part of the Commercial and New Payments Flows organization, sitting under the Small and Medium Enterprises segment which is responsible for advancing Mastercard's efforts in growing our volumes and market share in Small Business payments in Asia Pacific, and reports to the Director, Partnerships and Strategy, Asia Pacific.

The individual will be responsible for supporting our overall partner management and growth, pricing for value and portfolio optimization initiatives. This individual will be partnering closely with the Commercialization and Product functions within the broader team to help jointly deliver on GDV, revenue and other objectives across all AP markets.

Role

The scope of this role is to support our Partnerships and Strategy function via:
• Customer Success / Portfolio Optimization:
o Drive clear identification and prioritization of customer success opportunities/engagements
o Build and own process to operationalize
o Partner with Commercialization teams to drive communication and best practice sharing to clients
o Partner with Commercialization teams to track and demonstrate progress
• Partnerships:
o Build out relationships with external partners to complement MA capabilities and differentiate our propositions
o Commercialize and execute on partnerships that already exist
o Manage and run partner relationships
• Work on developing pricing for value strategies to capitalize on new opportunities / product offerings
• Work on needed business and sales excellence initiatives such as improving sales materials and exec reporting, tracking “Big Bet” projects across the region

All About You

• Strong analytical and data skills, along with the ability to infer insights and make relevant recommendations
• Good project management, coordination and reporting abilities, demonstrated by the ability to keep key objectives on track and mitigate risks/delays
• Relevant industry experience preferred, such as payments, cards, financial services, fintech, start-up world etc.
• Strong team player with good communication, storytelling and presentation skills
• Self-motivated and able to operate within a cross-functional team environment
• Skilled at management reporting and gathering insights from granular data to influence decision making
• Ability to work with internal tools to pull data and custom reports (eg: Tableau)
• Organizational savviness to navigate a highly matrixed organization and resilience to thrive in high pressure goal-oriented, and substantial revenue growth driven environment.
