Overview of the Role
In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for owning and delivering the execution of the NAM Go-to-market strategy for MDES (Mastercard Digital Enablement Service). You will be working closely with NAM teams (Product Specialists, Commercialization, Delivery, Accounts and Customer Support) to roll out new product features in the market and act as the subject matter expert for several features. Vital to this will be taking a leadership role within the team with an eye for technical details, and ability to work cross-functionally with customers and partners, and internal stakeholders.
Role Description
• Identify and execute on product or process gaps and key opportunities for NAM (Issuer, Processor, Fintech, digital partner)
o Gather feedback from customers and key internal stakeholders (development teams, commercialization, Global product, and customer-facing teams: CAMs/TAMs, CIS, USPD, Product Specialists) to initiate and deliver new enhancements and solutions.
o Drive MDES roadmap prioritization and enhancements by communicating customer feedback and region prioritization with Global teams.
o Collaborate with regional product specialist and commercialization teams to direct and evaluate new MDES platform initiatives per NAM requirements
• Support product strategies for MDES and core products in alignment with company objectives
o Drive initiatives to increase tokenized transactions in NAM
o Engage with cross-functional teams to create and deliver new tokenization use cases and solutions for issuers, processors, fintechs and wallet providers
o Work with commercialization teams to support go-to-market efforts for new functionalities
o Support the onboarding of new issuers to MDES, facilitating seamless integration and adoption
• Product Expertise and Consultation:
o Serve as a trusted SME on MDES API integrations, push provisioning solutions and MDES Manager platform
o Provide technical guidance and consultative support to customers and internal teams
o Assist in developing documentation material to streamline product understanding and support adoption of tokenization
All About You
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business or a related field.
• 3+ years of product management experience
• Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset who can wear different hats
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, supported by research and analytical skills.
• Skilled in creating mockups, flow charts, and process diagrams to capture requirements, present solutions, and facilitate discussions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly with technology personnel and customer end users, across all organizational levels, both internally and externally.
• Experience in the Payments, Ecommerce, Tokenization or cards payments processing industry is a plus.
