Title and Summary

Senior Information Security Engineer Founded by Mastercard and IBM in 2018, Trūata specializes in privacy-enhancing technologies for privacy risk assessment, de-identification, and true anonymization of data. Trūata was one of the first companies in the EU to receive independently accredited ISO 27701 certification, the international standard for data privacy management. In 2023, Mastercard acquired full ownership of Trūata with Trūata continuing to operate as an independent entity within the Mastercard Data Insights & Analytics Organisation.

Senior Information Security Engineer:

• Monitors real-time malicious and suspicious activity and implements solutions using established standards and common solutions as a guideline for problem-solving
• Responds to common real-time security infringements/risks
• Responsible for all project documentation, including maintaining technical documents and business requirements
• Develop detailed understanding of the data flow and data definitions of each project to translate into business requirements
• Maintaining an understanding of security policies and regulatory compliance (i.e. PCI, GDPR)
• Oversees junior members of the team to ensure if part of a security domain team (i.e. identity access management) business as usual activities as definied by their job responsibilities
• Participates in designs and develops applications as part of a security domain team (i.e. identity access managment), reviews, and implement governance security controls, partners with BizOps for support requirements, and creates documentation such as user guides for customers
• Takes lead on medium size projects
• Creates business and audit requirements on projects that defines getting to implementation
• Has strong communication skills and technical skills with the ability to communicate between business and technical teams
• Is responsible for understanding security policies and industry best practices & compliance
• Is responsible for reviewing and providing feedback to management for improvements to front line metrics to ensure controls are being met as defined
