About the Role

Network Services are a key driver for scaling the Services business, through Mastercard's 1-many go-to-market (“GTM”) channels. Our mission is to channel new initiatives that enhance the Mastercard network ecosystem and meet client needs, creating value for the entire network and scalable revenues for Services.
Network Services team is responsible for managing two programs:
• INER (Incremental Network-Enabled Revenue) refers to initiatives that leverage Mastercard's network capabilities to create additional value for customers and partners. These initiatives typically involve delivering new or improved services via the network, optimising pricing structures, and introducing behavioural or compliance-related fees.
• Market-Wide Initiatives (MWIs) are strategic programmes designed to address common needs and opportunities across an entire market or region. They typically involve deploying Mastercard products or services at scale, funded through market funds.
As Network Services Market Lead, you will own and execute Network Services business strategy for UK&I and Northern Europe divisions, covering both Market Work Initiatives (MWIs) and Incremental Network Enabled (INER) programs.

Key Responsibilities
• Maintain primary responsibility for MWIs: actively contribute to market strategic planning, drive ideation of new MWIs based on local needs, support Pan-Europe MWI development, and lead go-to-market execution, ensuring legal and controllership compliance.
• Proactively identify opportunities to grow the fund pool for MWIs, either by creating new market funds or designing scalable, off-the-shelf programmes (e.g., CBA/user-pay models) to maximise individual client fund utilisation.
• Provide local feedback for INER: understand both immediate and long-term pipeline, communicate pipeline updates with local market representatives, and share actionable feedback with the NS Central INER team.
• Support INER syndication and local go-to-market efforts, collaborating closely with Product and Customer Success teams.
• Drive collaboration and synergy between MWIs and INER programmes, ensuring both are strategically aligned and mutually reinforcing.
• Connect local market dynamics with central strategy, offering insights and recommendations to inform broader team direction.
• Support local market initiatives for revenue optimisation, such as waiver conversion and whitespace identification.
• Oversee Network Services revenue performance for assigned markets
