Title and Summary

Network Portfolio Director Overview
•As our Network Portfolio Director, you will have a global remit within Mastercard Cross Border Services (MA XBS) network partnership team. You will participate in defining the global network strategy, rationalization and robustness plan. Additionally you will carry out market & competition analysis with the support of the regional leads and act as the internal SPOC for network related queries.

Responsibilities
•Participant and document the global network strategy.
•Create a global redundancy plan
•Create & maintain detailed country vison/plan – with the objective to increase our markets share, address technical/operational issues and stay ahead of the competition.
•Create a plan to rationalize the global payout network
•Monitor & analyze monthly volume vs. regional business case. Additionally, prompt commercial renegotiation in case of increase and trigger root cause analysis on case of decrease or no volume.
•Payment routing analysis & optimisation
•Develop & maintain a central CRM for the network:
•Lead one-off projects and participate in global Mastercard initiatives
•Internal SPOC for network partnership team
•Track & Report

Experiences
•Proven ability to evolve in a complex matrix environment.
•Is determined and organized.
•Demonstrated ability to operate with complete independence and autonomy.
•Can communicate to executives, peers, and staff with impact, eloquence, and authenticity.
•Demonstrated experience building organizational relationships, partnering with and influencing executive leadership while commanding the respect of the individual product practitioners across the organization.
•Has experience in international payments, foreign exchange, cash management, settlement and reconciliation processes.
•Has 10+ years of experience in the payment industry
•Has project/portfolio management experience, preferably in the payments industry.
•Has intimate knowledge of payment systems, schemes, and structures.
•Has experience working in correspondent banking and/or transaction banking.
•Has proven success developing and managing payment partnerships.
