Title and Summary

Marketing Manager Overview
As Marketing Manager, Social Media & Marketing Projects, you will play a key role in shaping Mastercard's brand presence across digital and traditional marketing touchpoints. You will combine creative storytelling with structured project management to bring integrated marketing initiatives to life — from concept to execution.
In this hybrid role, you will lead the creation, coordination, and evolution of social media content and formats while managing diverse marketing projects in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external agencies. You'll ensure that Mastercard's brand voice is expressed creatively, consistently, and effectively across all communication activities.
This position is ideal for a creative yet organized marketing professional who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys driving multiple projects simultaneously, and contributes to Mastercard's mission to connect everyone to priceless possibilities.

Role
• Develop and manage creative content strategies and concepts in alignment with Mastercard's brand and communication objectives.
• Create, plan, and oversee engaging social media content and storytelling formats that strengthen brand visibility and engagement.
• Lead and coordinate marketing projects end-to-end — from briefing and concept development through production, stakeholder alignment, and performance review.
• Manage and collaborate with external agencies and creative partners to ensure high-quality and on-brand execution.
• Partner with internal teams across Brand, Communications, and Product Marketing to ensure message alignment and integrated delivery.
• Track progress, analyze performance, and identify opportunities to improve project outcomes.
• Support the team with light administrative and operational tasks (e.g., budget tracking, reporting, asset coordination).

All About You
• 3–5 years of experience in marketing, communications, or social media management, ideally in an agency or international brand environment.
• Creative mindset paired with structured, detail-oriented working habits.
• Proven experience in developing and managing social media content and creative marketing projects.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and priorities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills — proactive, reliable, and solution-oriented.
• Excellent written and spoken English and German.
• Experience with creative or analytics tools (e.g., Canva, Sprinklr, Google Analytics) is a plus.
