Title and Summary
Manager, Software Engineering Overview:We are looking for an exceptional Software Engineering Manager to join our team. In this role, you will lead a talented group of engineers, ensuring successful delivery of high-quality software solutions while fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. You'll be responsible for driving the team's performance, guiding technical decision-making, and delivering scalable solutions.
As part of our engineering team, you will manage the development lifecycle from design to deployment, ensuring the quality and scalability of our systems in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Role:
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of software engineers.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications.
- Own the product's lifecycle, from architecture design and development to deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to define and prioritize deliverables.
- Continuously improve application performance and enhance system scalability.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues, ensuring high availability and reliability of systems.
- Foster a collaborative team environment with a focus on knowledge-sharing and personal development.
- Drive the adoption of best practices in coding, testing, and development processes.
All About You:
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience, with a proven track record in leading and mentoring engineering teams.
- Extensive experience with TypeScript, React, and cloud technologies.
- Strong knowledge of cloud technologies, including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience with modern software architecture, including microservices and distributed systems.
- A strong communicator who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys working cross-functionally.
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles, including object-oriented programming (OOP), clean code, and design patterns.
- Proven ability to deliver complex software projects on time and within scope.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
- A passion for fostering growth and creating a positive work culture.
- Ability to make data-driven decisions and prioritize team and product needs.
