Title and Summary

Leveraging expertise, data-driven insights, and execution, the team offers value-added services to drive customer success.
This is a newly created position to expand our capabilities in fraud prevention and cyber services within the Italian market. You will be part of Italian Services Business Development team, with a focus on our security solutions portfolio. You will play a key role in shaping go-to-market efforts, managing client relationships, and delivering innovative security solutions to various clients, with a focus on financial institutions.
About the Role:
• Drive go-to-market activities for Mastercard's fraud and cyber security services in Italy, with a primary focus on financial institutions
• Drive business development and independently manage client relationships, including prospecting, qualifying leads, and closing deals
• Partner with product and consulting teams to tailor fraud and cyber solutions to client needs
• Contribute to Mastercard's market presence and thought leadership by representing the brand at conferences, industry events, and client meetings
• Translate customer needs into actionable business requirements, leveraging Mastercard's global assets and data
• Help build the Mastercard Services brand in cyber by forging strong relationships with clients and industry stakeholders
All About You
• Proven experience in fraud prevention, cybersecurity, or risk management, ideally from a consulting firm or SaaS vendor
• Strong business development and client engagement skills—able to build trust and uncover opportunities
• Experience in the cyber and/or fraud domain is essential; prior sales experience is preferred, though a strong interest and motivation to grow into a sales-focused role will also be considered
• Understanding of current security and cybersecurity tools, technologies, and trends
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Italian and English
• Highly independent, self-motivated, and able to own your book of business
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally across product, tech, and delivery teams
• Completed university degree
