Overview
The Customer Solutions Center is looking for a Product Manager to handle Mastercard's core products developments in Romania and support the markets in the South East Europe division (SEE). The ideal candidate is an experienced product manager with deep understanding of core banking products such as current accounts, debit cards, credit cards, digital banking, value added benefits, customer loyalty models across multiple customer segments. Proven track record in developing and deploying value propositions for core banking products is a requirement.

As Core Products Manager you will be responsible for:
• Identifying and sourcing new benefits with local partners for consumer segments:
- Manage overall relationship with key local partners and subcontractors
- Manage contracting process of key local partners and subcontractors
- Design and execute process for deployment of new benefits
- Prepare regular reporting and analysis for local benefits
• Managing implementation and development of benefits platforms in Romania
• Supporting deployment of local and global benefits platforms with issuers
• Reviewing issuers' value proposition and support Account Managers in proposing enhanced value proposition to issuers on both consumer and commercial segments.
• Cooperating with the teams across markets towards developing and delivering scalable solutions in the SEE countries.

Role
In this divisional role, you will:
• Bring your deep knowledge of products, services or platform capabilities to a solution-selling environment
• Enable new capabilities in the market with a broad scope covering multiple cardholder segments (credit/debit/prepaid, Mass Affluent, Premium, SME, Corporate) and multiple value added topics such as Benefits, Loyalty, Engagement, UX, partnership development
• Cooperate with the Core Products teams, focusing on innovation to support the customers develop their issuing products and overall business
• Contribute to Country and Divisional projects aimed at developing cardholder value proposition in various segments, supporting the overall strategy
• Identify the development of win-win-win partnerships with value chain players that can help boost the value proposition for various segments for our customers

All About You
The ideal candidate for this position should have:
• Inherent knowledge of Payment business and card products and their value to customers
• Substantial experience in product management, with proven track record in developing customer value propositions across various segments (consumer and commercial experience is a big plus)
• Proven track record in developing and managing products related to current accounts, debit cards, credit cards, SME, digital banking, customer value added benefits, customer loyalty, customer engagement in a financial institution or fintech
• Deep understanding, experience and discipline of product development, product management, and problem solving
• Excellent communication skills - able to partner, manage and influence internal and external stakeholders (Partners, Sales, Marketing, Customer Delivery, Product, Financial) to develop and execute the business requirements.
• Robust sales, negotiation and presentation skills both written and verbal
• Good strategic vision, with the ability to turn complex strategies into practical and execution-oriented plans
• Sturdy quantitative/analytical skills and ability to effectively manage data
• Highly collaborative skills with strong ability to cooperate with cross functional teams
• Strong English language skills
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Business/Management/Marketing
• Team player, Self-starter, independent operator and highly proactive profile
