Manager, Product Management OverviewThe Global Portfolio Optimization (GPO) team leads an innovative and ongoing, data-driven process that empowers issuer customers with actionable insights and tailored solutions to increase cardholder engagement and boost card activation, usage, spend and other priority KPIs across customer portfolios. The team utilizes a programmatic approach to enable top prioritization and acceleration of efforts – enabling the Mastercard organization with the data, content, tools, and resources to deliver on portfolio optimization opportunities at scale. With the power of our data, advanced analytics, and always-on optimization model, we help customers unlock new revenue opportunities and operational efficiencies that keep their business moving forward.
We're hiring a Manager, Product Management to play a pivotal role in leading and evolving the measurement strategy for PO engagements globally. This role ensures we quantify value delivered, identify opportunities for continuous improvement and scale, and share actionable insights and best practices across stakeholders and regions. The ideal candidate will combine a data-driven mindset with strong leadership and communication skills to drive measurement excellence across the organization.
Role / Responsibilities
• Own and evolve the end-to-end measurement strategy for PO engagements across all regions, including defining clear metrics, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to track performance and impact.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all measurement-related initiatives across GPO and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business priorities and regional needs.
• Manage the Data & Analytics team by overseeing prioritization and delivery of workstreams, ensuring a high bar for data accuracy, on-time delivery, and strategic storytelling.
• Collaborate with regional PO leads, Marketing Services (MS), Core Payments, D&A, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams to collect inputs, align on success metrics, and drive measurement adoption.
• Drive proactive follow-ups and communication with stakeholders across levels to ensure deliverables are met, insights are acted upon, and initiatives stay on track.
• Build and maintain dashboards, presentations, and insights packages to inform leadership decision-making and support strategic storytelling.
• Define the vision and roadmap for the PO Measurement dashboard and lead its development and execution in partnership with D&A and technical teams.
• Contribute to the development of GPO sales enablement tools and content by surfacing insights from data measurement activities.
• Identify opportunities to scale measurement capabilities, automate recurring tasks, and enhance reporting efficiency and impact.
• Share measurement best practices and learnings across regions to foster consistency, improve execution, and enable repeatability.
All About You / Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Analytics or related field required; advanced degree a plus.
• 7+ years of overall experience with at least 5+ in product management, analytics, strategy, or operations—preferably in a global, matrixed organization.
• Strong project management skills with extreme attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workstreams at once.
• Demonstrated experience managing high-performing analytics or technical teams; ability to translate business needs into technical data requirements and vice versa.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to influence and follow up effectively across a wide range of stakeholders with a sense of urgency.
• Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI); SQL knowledge a plus.
• Proven ability to take initiative, operate autonomously, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience with Mastercard data systems (QMR, Enterprise Reporting, Cubes) is a plus.
• Knowledge of cardholder behavior metrics and core payments KPIs is an asset.
• A positive attitude and a team-first mindset is essential.
