Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis OverviewStrategic Growth is a newly formed organization within Mastercard supporting a wide-range of important business units including The Center for Inclusive Growth, Growth Segments, Localization, and Public Sector. The organization is a key driver of our philosophy of “doing well by doing good”.

Role
The Manager, Financial Analysis plays a lead role in the development and analysis of the consolidated financial budget, forecasts and reporting for Strategic Growth. This role works closely with the Strategic Growth leadership by transforming strategic plans into actionable results. Focus is on building out the appropriate Finance and Control structure to optimize investments across the business unit. Major responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Monthly financial reporting – manage the monthly reporting package; prepare monthly reporting for Worldwide Finance including variance analyses, pacing, year-over year trends, FX and other ad hoc analyses; support business units within Strategic Growth with management reporting, Hyperion support and financial analysis
• Quarterly forecast process – consolidate and review forecasts based on underlying business drivers (including cadence review); prepare and analyze quarterly forecast roll-forwards (vs. prior forecast, budget and prior year); perform risks & opportunities analyses
• Annual budget process – work with business units to align strategy, evaluate funding needs and prepare submission of budgets (in Hyperion) to ensure compliance; review, analyze and report key business drivers. Cross-functional collaboration is essential throughout the process
• Strategic Reporting – consolidate and provide financial analysis on strategic initiatives e.g. Mastercard's Center for Inclusive Growth Fund
• Support operational activities Mastercard's Center for Inclusive Growth Fund including; working with third-party accounting service providers, external audit coordination, review and approval of grant funding, etc.
• Support of Worldwide MasterCard initiatives where applicable
• Ad-hoc reporting - Support ad-hoc reporting analyses as required, which includes managing special projects
All About You
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Accounting
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with all phases of financial planning and management, budgeting and forecasting
• Strong analytical skills
• Proven skills communicating with all levels of management
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent PC skills, particularly in Excel. Advanced knowledge and experience with Hyperion is required.
