Manager, Finance Business Partner, BillPay Engineering Overview:

The Financial Planning & Analysis function manages all aspects of management reporting encompassing budgeting and forecasting, strategic and customer planning. This includes the management and execution of the corporate reporting and planning requirements

Role
Responsible for a broad range of finance related responsibilities and acts as a finance generalist
Business Partnering for Bill Pay Engg business

• Partner with the Engg business to support objective delivery by providing relevant financial analytics, regular reporting and business insights to key stakeholders, while developing robust tracking mechanisms
• Apply strategic understanding of business dynamics and competitive forces in different markets to provide insights and that aid the business to make financially sound decisions
• Escalate analysis and findings where applicable to Finance and Business leadership where course correction is required to deliver against financial plans and objectives
• Assists with strategy and process improvements to ensure alignment with Engg objectives; proactively identifies ways to improve processes and executes agreed upon improvement

FP&A
• Drives the financial planning and reporting related needs and requirements e.g. ownership of the develop of Budget, Forecasts, O&Rs and strategic plans
• Owns the monthly close process delivering analysis of variances against budget, forecasts, prior year actuals, key business drivers and initiatives. Review and provide thoughtful business driven commentary to management teams
• Design and execute on financial process improvements by building and maintaining financial tools to perform analysis and modelling
• Support in building of business cases and tracking spend for key initiatives
• Monthly business reviews for Bill Pay on regional level, including commentaries per country and preparation of month performance deck
• Support in regulatory asks for MPS (Dora, Defense file, audit requests, R&D etc.)
• Manage TCO and other technology spend, ensure close cooperation with Tech Finance
• Support in any MPS specific request related to Engineering capacity - efficiency realization, long term plans, validate business cases, portfolio spend follow-up
• Investigate and create opportunities for automation and more efficient methods of insightful analysis creation and delivery, anticipating needs of internal customers and other stakeholders

All about you

• Relevant qualification in business, accounting and/or Finance preferred
Experience operating in a diverse, multi-functional accounting and/or finance group
• Ability to work independently but also be a team player; proactive and able to deliver within agreed deadlines
• Experience building internal and external business partnerships; develops and leverages key relationships in order to understand the needs and objectives of stakeholders
• Self driven and good communication skills
• Exposure to supporting a designated business area on risk and opportunity considerations, leveraging analytical techniques as well as outside trends and events
• Experienced with financial systems and applications; serves as a resource to those less experienced (e.g., Hyperion, Oracle)
• Experience identifying and implementing process improvement activities; makes recommendations to further improve procedures
• Successfully resolves complex issues in a timely and efficient manner
